@Its_Me_Daaveed@mislead Now you're wrong AND moving the goalpost. Just cause it doesn't give what *you* want still doesn't make it useless.
Lots of Mastery, exclusive cosmetics, exclusive weapons, exclusive parazon mods, exclusive subsumes, exclusive resources, universal intrinsic buffs, On-Call crew.
@Ephriam__@Pupsker The reason is because Umbra's sentience passive removes helminth buffs which makes him annoying when using something like Wrathful Advance, and requires an augment to fix.
Also, having 3 umbral polarities on top of that ruins the variety of mods you can build him with.
@Ephriam__@Pupsker There used to be a bug where base Mesa had double the fire rate of Mesa Prime but that's since been fixed.
Now, the only case where the base frame might be preferred over the "prime" is with Excalibur vs Excalibur Umbra (...unless you have Excalibur Prime lmao)
@mislead I used to "hate" Railjack but the second I actually upgraded mine with top tier parts I had way more fun using it.
Even so, I still wish there were certain quality of life features like letting the Pilot use Forward Artillery or kicking griefing randos out of the pilot seat.
@mislead it was really buggy when it first released, combined with the fact that there's basically no tutorial for a first-time player, combined with people being too lazy to actually make their railjack good
so lots of people have written it off as bad before even giving it a chance.
@Its_Me_Daaveed@mislead Railjack drops credits, many weapons (some of which valuable), exclusive frames like Sevagoth and Caliban, is one of the best places to rank up Necramechs, and the ONLY place to farm Tenet melee weapons.
so just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it "doesn't give anything".
@TheBoysOOCC MM would be a hypocrite if he went back into the shit right after getting out of it.
All the "I miss my family... I can't see them... I'm a monster..." dialogue would have been for nothing.
