coke zero caffeine zero sugar zero calories is the even more technodharmic drink of choice bcs it is entirely synthetic, it has no taste analog in nature. it is a testament to the spark of divinity in man, evidence that we can prescind from our base conditions to mirror our creator in infinite creativity
@EZebroni@vrbo I booked on VRBO with friends there was alot of before you leave notes from the owners on there we listened to them all, mopped the floors cleaned the bathrooms. We ended up losing our cleaning deposit of $250 for not emptying the dishwasher (which we ran as we were leaving)
This is Love—the only song there’s ever been and the most technically ambitious OK Go music video to date. Shot in a (nearly) subfreezing Hungarian train station, the operation relied on the meticulous choreography of 29 robots and the incredible expertise of over 60 brilliant people. (Among them, of course, were co-directors Damian Kulash, Aaron Duffy [@dufslam], and Miguel Espada.)
But the thing we’re particularly proud of here isn’t technical achievement—it’s feeling. This song is among the most sincere we’ve ever written, so the challenge was to deliver all our trademark visual spectacle while *also* tugging a heartstring or two. We aimed for more than mirror trickery and Kodachrome; we were after something resonant, multiplex, ever-expansive. Something like love itself.
So, this video is about connection—the universes it contains and unfurls—and as it turns out, we’d use math and several metric tons of machinery to get there, putting robots in service of a distinctly human phenomenon. We will say: they were a pleasure to work with. Never missed a cue. Never flubbed a take. We hope you enjoy.

@cakeshaman@DerekTru@No2ofTheBLB A broken battery wouldn't stay at 0% charge thats not how car batteries break. It is the reserve capacity that diminishes in most cases not the ability to charge.
This is what I do for a living btw.
@river_is_nice I think this is one of those books you relate to as a teenager and then when revisit as an adult are really embarrassed by. Holden Caulfield type.
Neil, there is a logic flaw in your little aphorism that seems quite telling. Since you and I are part of the Universe, then we would also be indifferent and uncaring. Perhaps you forgot, Neil, that we are not superior to the Universe but merely a fraction of it. Nice day, indeed
