@SavMondo Wissa looked like a panic buy at the time to give Howe a recognised striker. Now it looks like nothing more than a massive disaster.

It’s not Howe’s doing this season. I don’t believe anyone could have done better with the cards he’s held.

@SavMondo I don’t believe EH chose any of those players. Elanga was not first choice, we needed a RW and lost out on Bryan Mbeumo. Let’s not even discuss the strikers we missed out on, but just to say Woltemade isn’t a striker and does not fit the same style of play we played with Isak.

@SALFAR_4 @CraigHope_DM Is your knowledge of football based on playing ‘Football Manager’ games? Eddie has never had any ‘contract funds’ entrusted to him. All he does is help compile a list of player types he wants in the positions he needs filling first. Your lot then deal with the rest - badly!

@scottyt5089 @CraigHope_DM Howe is not the problem. PSR, lack of sporting director and Isak saga over the summer as well as unfortunate injuries are. Howe’s got another three years to win the league for me. Make Howe the scapegoat, and you’re kidding no one but yourself!

Only thing Newcastle made sure of was that they were properly compensated for him after Liverpool publicly unsettled him. How long are you giving him to ‘be fit’ though? That excuse is waring thin!
