cartoonmania having 320 characters is really funny because matt only uses like 20 of them so theres just so many random characters with bullshit designs that never do ANYTHING
It's very simple how we got to this point:
- Streaming Era
- Nepo/Tumblr hires that make shows for them and their own inner circle
- Blacklisting potential creatives from being in the industry
- Networks limiting what airs
- Western world no longer cares about animation
‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ joins ‘Sanjay and Craig’, ‘The Casagrandes’, and ‘Middlemost Post’ as the only Nicktoons since the 2010s to finish their runs on the main Nickelodeon channel.
We need a list of cartoonist (mangaka included) that are funny individuals and would be fun to torture

What I feel is Bob McKimson’s most overlooked piece of animation for Warners, from TORTOISE BEATS HARE (’41). Tex Avery’s staging, McKimson’s beautifully crafted draftsmanship, and Mel Blanc’s brilliant vocal performance of the winded rabbit make it all stick together.
