The Boy At The Back Of The Class is our class book this half term.

The theme of this year’s #RefugeeWeek is compassion, which we have a lot of in Year 3. We joined author Na’ima B. Robert to listen to her beautiful story and practice illustrating. This made us want to write letters to local young refugees to welcome them to England. #SimpleActs

Year 3 have great attendance and regularly win our attendance bear in assembly - we make sure we keep him busy!

What a day! Year 3 are very prepared for King Charles’ coronation tomorrow! We talked about what we would do if we were King or Queen and have some brilliant ideas for our new King. We also designed our own stamp collages and commemorative plates! @BuckinghamofUK @RoyalFamily

Year 3 visited Segedunum yesterday to learn about life as a Roman soldier! We are so lucky to have this amazing piece of history right on our doorstep! @SegedunumFort #rdpshistory

Year 3 spent their English lesson identifying and mapping the feelings of the characters in our model text ‘The Caravan’. Ask us about ‘show, don’t tell’!
