I ain't gonna front, I lost myself this year. I forgot my worth. I let my mental health deteriorate and take a toll on my physical appearance. But that's all done with. I’m slowly picking myself up and my bounce back game is gonna be something crazy.
Idc what nobody says about me I’m one strong asss woman. I been through alot & I done made some bad decisions. I wipe my own tears & keep it pushing & I’m still smiling like nothing’s going on, I got me forever.🤞🏽🫶🏽
I’m Judith.
The one who chose Harley over Brice.
Meaning… I had somebody who genuinely wanted to love me, give me affection, be there for me, and build something real with me and at the time, I didn’t give him what he deserved. I overlooked what was right in front of me.
Then I met somebody who gave me the attention and temporary excitement I thought I wanted… only for it to last a few months before I was being treated like shit. 😞
And that’s the part nobody talks about: sometimes you don’t realize the value of something real until you experience something temporary.
Moral of the story?
Don’t destroy something permanent chasing something temporary. Don’t trade genuine love for attention, lust, chemistry, or a moment that feels good.
Because sometimes the person you thought you could do better than… was actually the person you should’ve appreciated more.
And baby, regret is a hard teacher. 😞💔
I realized people only like you when you're easy to benefit from. When you say yes, stay quiet, and let things slide, they love you. But once you start saying no, setting boundaries, and standing on what's right for you, everything changes. Suddenly you got an attitude. Suddenly you're the problem. Truth is, they never respected you, they just liked your silence. I'm not being difficult, I'm being real. If me protecting my peace offends you, that's your issue, not mine.
Everybody that knows me know that my favorite holidays are approaching I’m happy I get to do the matching pjs, movie nights, little parties and decorating with my little ones… a-little sad because some plans changed but hey it’s life.
Every time I hear random people say, “You seem like a good person,” “You seem fun to be around,” or “It’s just something about you…” I smile and laugh because yeah, that’s because I AM. 😂 I am fun to be around. I am a good person. Hell, I’m a GREAT person to be around. And you can feel that without me having to say a word. My energy speaks before I do. My presence speaks for itself. You can’t fake genuine energy, and I promise you… energy don’t lie. 🤎✨
The way I move, my mindset, the things I want, and simply who I am as a person… you wouldn’t think I’m 29. 😂 People literally ask me, “How old are you again?” because the way I think and explain certain things just hits different.
I’m still just a girl… well, a young woman, who knows exactly what she wants out of life. I know who I am, what I deserve, where I’m going, and what I’m no longer willing to settle for. I may be young, but my mindset has always been bigger than my age. 🤎
I'm so big on addressing everything because I feel like communication would fix things. But it's so draining now. Let people be who they are and walk away❗️
So if you see me smiling, creating, loving, praying, mothering, rebuilding, and trying again just know that you’re looking at somebody who has been through some things and God kept her.
And for that, I will forever give Him the glory.
I survived what I thought would destroy me.
I’m healing from what hurt me.
I’m becoming who God called me to be.
And my story is not over.
This is my testimony. 🙏🏽❤️
So no, I’m not standing here saying I have it all together. I’m standing here saying God has been faithful. He didn’t let the things that were meant to break me destroy me.
He didn’t let my hardest seasons become my final chapter. And I believe there is still more ahead of me.
I’m still healing. I’m still growing. I’m still learning how to trust God with the things I cannot control. But I’m not who I used to be.
The woman who cried those tears is still here but she’s stronger now.
The woman who questioned her worth is learning who she is.
The woman who thought she couldn’t make it is still standing.
And that alone is a testimony.‼️
When I felt like nobody understood what I was going through, He kept me. When doors closed, He reminded me that a closed door doesn’t mean my story is over. And when I look at where I am now, I realize that some of the things I cried about were actually things God was using to redirect me.
There were times I questioned myself. Times I questioned people. Times I even questioned God. But somehow, every time I thought I was at the end of me, God gave me enough strength to make it through another day. When I didn’t have the answers, He kept me. When I was emotionally exhausted, He kept me.
There were seasons I didn’t understand. Seasons where I felt like I was carrying more than I could handle. Seasons where I had to smile while fighting battles nobody knew about. I’ve experienced disappointment, heartbreak, rejection, instability, and moments where I genuinely felt alone.
My Testimony: God Kept Me
I’ve been sitting with this for a while, and I feel like I need to testify. Not because everything in my life is perfect. Not because I have every answer. And definitely not because I’ve never cried, questioned God, felt disappointed, or wondered, “Lord, how much more can I take?” But because when I look back over my life, I realize something…
God kept me.
