@Jomboy_ Goldy is a great defender, but poor at stretching for the ball… if you do a deep dive on just this season, you will see 8-10 times the baserunner would have been out with a better stretch/reach for the ball. Please pass along to
Boone… (Rice is even worse at this)
Again, @Jomboy_ can you please look into this and address it with Boone… goldy can always stretch quite a bit more.. luckily this was still an out… worst first baseman stretch in baseball…
@MaxMannis The best of these 10 for the playoffs, bullpen will be solid. Starters will be solid. Gonna come down to scoring runs, specifically hitting with RISP.

@JackCurryYES The 1-2 pitch to Muncy was a high backup slider for a strike - *called a ball. Wells pauses but doesn’t challenge. Thought that was gonna be the best challenge moment of the yanks season. Cole A+
@RealMichaelKay The pitch before caballero’s strikeout was a fastball down the middle.. he assumed the next pitch would be a chase pitch off the plate.. so he guessed, took all the way, and looked silly when Seymour backed it up with another fastball down the plate. Happens.
@TalkinYanks @yeoverdrake @papa_gleyber25_ You’re losing and facing a sidewinding righty, this is where you pinch hit Wells. Score/matchup is the context.
@flash17yes @RealMichaelKay@JackCurryYES Gleyber receives the ball way too far out in front of the bag.. this should have been an easy caught stealing (assuming he picked the tougher hop)
@RealMichaelKay Volpe’s pop-up looked tougher than it was bc he thought Gleyber was gonna catch it.. Re-watch, you’ll notice he looks down at Gleyber before looking back up to find the ball.
@JackCurryYES@RealMichaelKay @flash17yes @CameronMaybinChad green has to use his changeup as well. He has one- a split change. Rarely throws it. Perfect for a tough lefty when 4-Seam/slider aren’t enough. Perfect example - long Mullins at bat which ultimately ended in a fly-out.
