🇺🇦🇷🇺 RUSSIA’S POKROVSK PUSH IS BLEEDING OUT
Russia is losing between 1,500 and 4,000 men a day across the Donbas front, according to Krykun, commander of Ukraine’s 20th Lubart Brigade.
Near Pokrovsk, Putin’s summer offensive is underway, but still failing to build real momentum. Russian advances have slowed sharply, and even small gains are coming at a devastating cost. Krykun says Russia’s 9th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade had to withdraw for recovery after its personnel were almost completely wiped out.
Russia wants Pokrovsk as a route toward Dobropillia, a key Donbas logistics hub critical for any further offensive toward the full occupation of Donetsk region.
Gen. Cavoli says Russia is taking 30,000–35,000 casualties a month, more than it can replace. Krykun says Russian troops often go straight from training grounds into combat, with life expectancy at 2–3 months after signing a contract.
Putin is still buying meters with men. The problem for Moscow is that Ukraine is making every meter more expensive than the last.
