the most dangerous people are those who benefit from the government and see no wrong in it. take rarara for example he’d sell his own people for tinubu, a former poor person o
3000 men that have abused, assaulted, raped, and massacre innocent citizens are forgiven and integrated back into society.
I don’t think we understand how dystopian that is.
I want to be so comfortable financially that gifting my loved ones becomes second nature.
“You passed”
Dinner’s on me.
“You bought a car?”
Let me buy you fuel
Gifting my loved ones would honestly make me so happy.
I noticed something:
People who have traveled a lot tend to judge less. Not because they became nicer, but because they've seen too many versions of what's "normal."
In one country, it's normal to eat with your hands.
In another, it's normal to stay quiet at the table.
In a third, it's normal to hug strangers.
When you've seen 30 different versions of "the right way," you stop believing yours is the only one.
Travel doesn't just teach geography.
It teaches tolerance.
Wallaahi we should be deeply worried as a Muslim society. Men and women who have lived their entire lives as Muslims are calling on women to conceal their husbands’ adultery and continue living with them.
I am not saying it is right to drag your husband online for a sin he committed in private, even if you want to leave the marriage. In fact, even after you have left the marriage, that is not permitted in Islam.
But choosing to remain with a philandering husband is exposing yourself to all sorts of dangerous diseases. It also brings shame upon your children and the generations that come after them.
You should be ashamed of yourself as a Muslim man or woman for telling women “su yi haƙuri da miji mazinaci,” even if you are one yourself.
It is one thing to be a sinner who struggles with a sin, and it is an entirely different thing to become an advocate for that sin.
This alone tells you how disconnected many of our leaders are from the realities faced by ordinary Nigerians. If the Presidential Villa itself is complaining about the high cost of electricity and choosing to go off grid, what hope is there for the common man?
Rather than focusing on making electricity more affordable and accessible for everyone, those in power simply opt out of the problem and leave the rest of the population to bear the burden. If those at the very top particularly the Villla, cannot cope with the cost, imagine what millions of us struggling Nigerians are going through every day! Wicked souls!
There’s absolutely nothing more pleasing than watching yourself do the things you said you’d do. I really value honoring the promises I’ve made to myself.
I need to start asking whether some of you are genuinely comfortable with the current state of Nigeria. If you work for the government and choose not to speak about the hardships Nigerians are facing, that’s your decision. But I see no justification for constantly trying to defend, sanitize, or force-feed people an administration that many citizens are dissatisfied with.
What Sadiq Sani Sani is doing is what many of us should have started doing long ago. We need more people willing to take the lead in holding the government accountable, not only on social media but through lawful civic engagement and public advocacy.
Quite frankly, whenever some of you insert yourselves into matters affecting ordinary Nigerians just to defend those in power, you make things worse. If your role is to promote the government, then do that. But don’t undermine citizens who are demanding accountability and speaking up about issues that directly affect their lives.
Dear Northern Governors,
Face your damn responsibilities. The North is shattered & you are not just there to collect FAAC, distribute it; change your cars, build your mansions, & wait for the next allocations.
If you cannot, and actually it is clear that you cannot, secure your people, look for help from outside the country. Stop treating these terrorists like your siblings even if you share the same tribe and ethnicity with them. They're marauding animals & should be treated as such. Invite countries that are friends and allies, go all out to annihilate these animals. Operate as though we don't have a central govt, bcos it is obvious that what we have at the center is just as useless. Seek for solutions yourselves. It is your people that are being killed. So it is your problem. Look for solutions yourselves.
Prayers alone won't solve our problems. But a sincere action followed by sincere prayers would.
To the youth, mobilise against bad leadership. Create awareness among the people. Boot out bad government, from the federal to states. We are the ones whose future is being destroyed by these incompetent leaders. Let us rise to our responsibilities.
