Hello, Scotland and Scots—and friends.
It’s been a long time since I last posted here. In preparation to purge my Twitter accounts, I have been reviewing messages I’ve shared with so many of you, and it is bittersweet.
I *am* over on Threads, mostly for photography. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth a look. It is a generally more pleasant place with a different culture. Maybe I will see you there.

I went to Threads a long time ago and recent events have convinced me to purge my Twitter existence. Even though it is starting over, I encourage you to try it out if you haven’t.

Twitter is over for me, I’d love to see old friends on Threads—a decent, friendly place to hang out.

… for others, but to me this is all related. I believe that Scots need to return to the roots of the independence movement, to the social-psychological environment of the days when independence felt so near.
In the current environment, the path independence is blocked…
