Anytime I take my eyes off of Jesus, my life slowly starts becoming worse. My thoughts get louder, my peace gets quieter, and I start trying to carry things I was never meant to carry. Everything changes when I fix my eyes back on Him.

I found a prayer in Micah 7:7 this morning. Lord, concerning the things in my life that I cannot fix, force, or figure out, teach me to stay with You until I see what You will do. When everything around me gives me reasons to give up, keep my heart settled enough to wait for You to make things right. Let me not run ahead of You because I am tired of waiting, or take matters into my own hands because I cannot see how You will work it out. Give me the grace to say, “I will wait for the God of my salvation,” even when the waiting is uncomfortable. Let me trust that You hear me, even when the answer has not yet come. And when You finally turn this thing around, let me remember that You were worth waiting for.

Before you sleep pray & ask for God’s will to be done in your life as it is in Heaven. In the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6, we see Jesus told us to pray for the Father’s will to be done. Let God’s will for you guide & lead your path. You can’t go wrong with God’s plan for your life
