I wrote up the full argument — Naur's "programming as theory building," why the tacit knowledge that matters can't be handed to a model, and what it actually means for how you work with agents. https://t.co/3tlnTzXZz1
This is creating a new job nobody applied for: the signatory. It is still called a "developer" but in reality a human cover for an AI agent — signing off on code they couldn't fix if it broke.
Same title as a real engineer. Opposite future.
So: do you have a role in the future of software development?
Yes: if you keep doing the hard part yourself, the part the AI offers to take off your hands.
No: if you've quietly handed it over.
The machines are going to make the difference impossible to fake.
It wasn't in the AI. Same model built both, same model maintained both — it was the constant.
The difference was the human: whether someone actually understood what the system was for. The agent is the constant now. You're the variable.
Two software systems. Same AI built both. Six months later one adapts in an afternoon, the other needs a three-week rewrite and takes down prod twice.
Same AI. So where did the difference come from?
Is your learning process built for the AI age? I have put down my thoughts on how we can leverage AI.

@MikeEndale Would love to catch up. It would be great if you could join the 10 academy team, who are all deep in building AI based products. Our office is near Axum hotel 22, and we would love if you join us at our Friday late afternoon coffee get together
AI seems to reveal that our collective human outputs contain a hidden, latent intelligence—a vast reserve of potential solutions and scientific discoveries—encoded in deeper structures and connections. Could it be that AI is the breakthrough engine? https://t.co/AuknU0ZtH2
Why must we and similar internet based startups have to suffer with the luck of stable internet despite paying a lot for it? We log complaints to Ethio Telecom almost every day, but to no permanent solution.

@ethiotelecom Who we are: We are a group of people under the umbrella of https://t.co/DNshEjA1Wi. We are working to enhance the Ethiopian workforce in AI, IoT, and Web3 skills. We train and place people in high performing jobs across the globe while being in Ethiopia.
Despite paying this much, a lack of stable internet is forcing us to leave Ethiopia and establish our business in a neighbouring country.
This is really sad as we know it is a technical issue that can be fixed if Ethio Telecom is determined to help businesses grow in Ethiopia.
We are proud to announce our 47 Machine Learning and Data Engineering graduates. This intensive training was made possible through the funding of 10 Academy alumni as well as the hiring and content support of our corporate partners.
Welcome to our family!
