How do people do this cad stuff man this shit is hard. Trying to design my own nas and just finished the caddy. Even then it wasn’t my own design, referenced it off someone else’s work. Maybe I’ll get it printed later and see if it works.
Okay first print done. The rails were filleted instead of chamfered, causing some overhang issues and the screw holes are a bit too big
Along with tjay, this was at 3.2mm thickness, im going to bring that down to a 2.4mm, which seems good enough for this

I think people compare SWEs to professions like basketball, as in the past, more people got into it due to passion.
If you never cared about the code, you never were a software engineer.
Imagine a mathematician saying, "I never cared about math", or a basketball player saying, "I never cared about basketball, just the score."
Every time someone says “I used Claude to check / edit this piece” I groan inwardly.
It inevitably means that several segments of the essay will have strong AI writing stench.
Folks, don’t do this. You think it’s making your piece better. It’s not.
A lot of people in my NOC batch went to the stanford continuing education (which NUS paid for and compulsorily made us do), and pretend like they're stanford students on linkedin. Please don't do that. It destroys your reputation
I'm happy that despite hitting codex rate limits, it doesn't terminate the active running chat :) I can't type new messages but at least the last job keeps chugging along
ah web scrapers on my git instance got my rate limits on greencloudvps nuked... its incredibly dumb...
git was running on vps1, whereas the ingress was on vps2(runs on both but dns "loadbalancer"). ended up with both VPS having its traffic cleared out by scrapers on git repos.
