The prototype of idiotic Indian public is furious at a doctor who received ₹2.5/- in commission for poorly manufactured cough syrups -the quality of which was cleared by THE GOVERNMENT HEALTH REGULATOR probably taking bribes from the manufacturer...

....BUT not furious at public and government officers taking ₹1000000/- to ₹100000000/- as bribes from companies that are destroying this country since decades.

Make doctors the scapegoat of systematic healthcare failure by the government. Easiest way out of accountability in the playbook.

12 children in Rajasthan died because their cough syrups were contaminated with toxic DEG made by Kayson Pharma.

11 children died in Madhya Pradesh after consuming contaminated cough syrup made by Shreesan Pharma.

This was proven through lab testing by Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Tamil Nadu government labs.

But the Ministry of Health, India told people that the cough syrups were clean and then one mother who gave the cough syrup to her child in Rajasthan was jailed and a doctor who prescribed cough syrup in MP was arrested.

No one from the company that manufactured these killer syrups were arrested or jailed. One manufacturer, Kayson Pharma was already blacklisted in 2023 for poor quality drugs. Why were these reptiles led back into the contract?

If one of the children who died was that of some big business magnate who gave funds to political party in power, or belonged to a politician, the story would have been so much different right?

What kind of governance are we stuck with? A government that does not care for their children is a liability and a burden to citizens, not an ally and shield. India is turning to be the circus that the jokers who elected the jokers want it to be.

While returning from ISVIR- on board Bangalore to Delhi flight today evening, in Vistara Airline flight UK-814- A distress call was announced

It was a 2 year old cyanotic female child who was operated outside for intracardiac repair , was unconscious and cyanosed

5 Doctors from @aiims_newdelhi were onboard

Immediately child was examined - his pulse was absent, extremities were cold , child was not breathing with cyanosed lips and fingers

On air- Immediate CPR was started and with limited resources, using skilled work and active management by team

Successfully IV canulla was placed , oropharyngeal airway was put and emergency response was initiated by whole team of residents on board- and the baby for brought to ROSC- return of circulation.

It was complicated by another cardiac arrest for which an AED was used.
For 45 mins , baby was resuscitated and flight was routed to Nagpur

On reaching Nagpur, child was handed over in stable hemodynamic to the pediatrician
