@obaa_boni@El_Bx This is why my 'do not buy' list, which probably should be much longer, consistently contains Nestle. To the great regret of my 10yo daughter who loves kitkat, which is the only product we would otherwise buy that we've not found a different brand or store brand replacement for.
@mafchauffeur Het is praktisch als er in je huishouden 1 tot 3 kopjes koffie per dag gezet worden (en meestal niet tegelijk, zeker als het er meer dan 2 zijn).
@dvdeijk@esjesjesj If what one plays with defines gender, I'd be trans or at least non-binary, as I played with cars *and* dolls and then went on to study computer science.
I have always been certain that I'm a girl/woman. Just one who doesn't give a fuck about what she's supposed to play with.
@dustychipura It will. For a while. Then your brain will learn to ignore the alarms. (I know because I have similar on my phone.)
Still, it will work for a bit, and since every hour of sleep gained is one, that is a good thing.
@taylorsschumann There's a big difference between 'it turned out OK' and 'it was fine'. (My emergency C-section was less dramatic than that, but was followed by a week of NICU and uncertainty if she'd make it the first night, and while she's fine 10 years on, it's still a traumatic experience.)
@ask_aubry Fortunately for me, when I had my emergency C-section (which is the reason I actually have a living child now) they also took out my 'giving a fuck about such nonsense'.
(Not entirely true, it pisses me off to no end. But at least I haven't believed it for even a second.)
@ADHDForReal Not so much bad mood for me, more stressed, distracted, tired, oversimulated, that kind of thing. Which often come with a suboptimal mood, but not necessarily.
@NoNonsenseND What is extra fun is when your own perception of flavours vary, so things of supposedly consistent composition (like cola) can seem impossibly sweet one day and undrinkably sour the next. (I suppose the good thing there is that I now don't drink cola...)
@Eeve2espeon@NoNonsenseND Strawberries can be wonderful, but they are not consistent at all.
Also, I am glad that in .nl shops often put the variety of grapes on the box these days, so I have a better idea of what to expect.
@ADHDForReal For example, I have managed with 'brush teeth' because I can scare myself as well as any dentist with stories of tooth pain and cavities, but I forget or decide to skip flossing much of the time because it's not as important to really do every day.
