Moving from SC to CO is the start. My southern dialect/charm, mixed with the little Spanish I knew helped me navigate a new linguistic world in Denver. Those experiences took me from monolingual to multilingual. 💙

#HISD schools & offices closed Friday (2/28) due to a major water main break. To ensure the safety of students & staff, maintenance will inspect all impacted facilities across the district to make sure systems are functioning properly. Schools/offices set to reopen Mon, (3/2).
