From Policy to Action:

In a major step toward advancing the Nigeria First Policy, NASENI ( @NASENIHQ and the Rural Electrification Agency - REA (@TheREANigeria) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate the deployment of locally developed renewable energy solutions across Nigeria. The partnership aligns with the strategic collaboration between the Bureau of Public Procurement-BPP (@BPP_NG )and NASENI, which promotes the prioritization of locally produced goods and services in government procurement.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the BPP Headquarters in Abuja, stakeholders highlighted the importance of strengthening local content, boosting indigenous production, and driving innovation in the energy sector.

The collaboration is expected to expand access to clean and reliable electricity, scale up local manufacturing, improve efficiency in the energy value chain, and contribute to sustainable national development.
