@TigersJUK You're oversimplifying. Skubal can say he wants to play in Detroit and be 100% genuine about it. He can also want to be paid what he deserves, or get pressure from the players union and his agent. If the difference is 10 million & he leaves, he obviously didn't want DET enough.

They didn't know the Guardians would be hosting until Sunday at about 4. They didn't know the games would be at 1 until later that day. Games started on Tuesday. Less than 48 hours
