@SussexHenryVIII Regardless of age, not having kids is akin to never falling in love. Do you need to experience love? No, but life is better with it. Not having kids means never experiencing the deepest form of love. You don’t need to experience it but life is better with it.

@bairdlet I have witnessed the second first-hand with a family member and it should be illegal. She bought one a suture kit when they decided they wanted to be a vet but failed to teach them any science or math beyond a 2nd/3rd grade level. It’s delusional.

@bairdlet There are ways to homeschool that don’t rely on parents knowing/teaching every subject themselves. The problem is that this is one sect of homeschooling philosophy. There is a whole other sect that teaches what the parent finds important/knows (ie gardening instead of math).
