@deviownsyou I don’t disagree. We’re talking past each other. I’m not prescribing how the online femdom space should be. The observation is that there is no middle space for casual interactions as exists in other parts of nsfwtwt, at least as far as I know.
@deviownsyou Put another way, I was trying to say I feel like there’s no casual middle space for femdom/FLR dynamics (at least as far as I’m aware) and I was just saying that probably emerges from how men and women are socialized and how we interact with porn.
@deviownsyou That’s a fair enough take, but I guess I was thinking about a femdom space between a relationship and a professional domme. I guess femdom roleplay, or something to that effect.
Talking into the void, but it kind of sucks the main outlet for femdom online seems to be findom. Which isn’t to say there’s anything wrong with findom (I’m glad it empowers so many women), but I long for a space where women can get off on the thrill of knowing men worship them.
I guess the fantasy world I’m imagining is one where there are as many dominant women as submissive men, and that they could symbiotically get each other off. But alas, that’s not the case. Oh well!
There is probably something to be said about differences in men and women’s masturbatory habits and their respective consumption of porn. Since porn caters to the male gaze, it’s probably a filter that ultimately hooks more men than women.
