@Artie_Pavlov These are the only two references to it in the two older cited sources. And the page already contradicts this source by saying that it's the only way to kill a Jabberwock not injure one. The page is already making untrue statements based on both the 2e & 5e sources.
@Artie_Pavlov Hey... you reversed a correction I made to the Jabberwock FR wiki page yesterday, correcting something incorrect on that page. And then locked the page to edits. Just looking for some clarification on why that was.
@Artie_Pavlov According to the Jabberwock page, three sources are cited. One of those is 5e. None of them are the literary origins. The page can happily say “it was long believed” re vorpal magic, but if the wiki is a living chronology of the world, it needs to reflect the change.
@Artie_Pavlov In which case, why does an earlier edition take precedence? If one edition contradicts another, why is the edition that states that they can only be killed by vorpal magic the one that gets quoted? If the wiki is edition neutral, it should reflect that.
@xerohdzn@hydro74 It's not hers, it's the guy (top left) with the shield's other hand. Her second hand is just below the red glove with the knife. It's hard to see because she has gloves that match her outfit.
@hydro74 Is his pointer finger kind of chonky? Yes. Does that sometimes happen when you bend your finger like that? Yes. Does it look, at first glance, like he has 6 fingers? Yes. Does he actually have 6 fingers? No.
