I swear the Standard section of the ban list update says essentially the same thing ever time. The formula is basically.
1.) Say the format is good (but don't use "flourishing"...)
1.) Admit that Izzet and Badgermole decks are dominate, but then tell everyone really it's not that bad guys.
2.) Call out a deck that went from tier 2 to tier 1 as an example of how the format is good and evolving.
3.) Empathize with players by saying the format is too fast and too powerful (but follow that up by reiterating you aren't taking any action to fix it).
4.) Ask for more time by reminding everyone that you are "learning" and "getting better at designing"
5.) No changes, but don't worry, we'll be watching closely for the rest of the year.

I had a poetic encounter tonight. I played a new guy in draft at FNM. No idea how Magic works. Tapping and untapping lands, sequencing, basic strategy, etc. I win 2-0. He tells me he doesn't play Limited much, but he did make Mythic on Arena and has 25 Commander decks
