Dear Dutch people:  if I come into your business and I speak your language perfectly and you switch the English on me, then I’m just going to keep speaking Dutch and make it very awkward.

You can’t sit and complain on one hand about ex-pats not learning the language, and then pulling those kinds of stunts when we do speak it.

Beste Nederlanders:  Als ik bij jullie binnenkom en ik spreek jullie taal perfect, en jullie schakelen dan over op Engels, dan blijf ik gewoon Nederlands spreken en maak ik het erg ongemakkelijk.
