The TLDR here is:
- it can make many agentic systems faster, cheaper and more accurate by replacing “LLM as a judge” components, ie. classifier.
- it does things like: score, judge, verify, guardrail, and detect jailbreaks given an input text and a task

It's not the same as delay. Delay is a few clear repeats you can count. Reverb is a cloud of them, too fast to count. DJs use it in transitions, or as a wash over vocals so they become a faint version of the original.
