The symptoms of social anxiety can often seem unmanageable and one might feel an impenetrable sense of doom that your fear is always out of your control, but with the right help and measures, one can learn to cope with it and minimize symptoms. #anxiety#disorder#mentalhealth
TW: Today we are talking about #SocialAnxietyDisorder.
It is a form of anxiety disorder where people deal with an extreme fear of social settings that might be considered normal by others such as meeting new people, giving a presentation or talking to someone face to face.

New moms may feel an overwhelming mix of emotions associated with Postpartum Depression, and it is important to remember that the mother is not at fault for having them. PPD is linked to chemical, social, psychological and physical changes associated with having a baby.
There are two main treatments for postpartum depression: medication and therapy. Either one can be used alone, but they are most effective when used together.
With no intervention, PPD can last for months or years and may lead to worse problems involving the infant, mother.
