It's unfortunate they announced it because scalpers now and will plan around it. Imagine they buy them all out on release only for a second wave of releases, followed by a third and fourth.
That would have caught scalpers so off guard some of the mass buyers would go broke.
@leanderriefel Page turners are possible but are terrible when actually implementing them. They struggle with older books and especially sticky pages and even when it works properly its very slow. A human has to also watch over it to prevent page ripping. Might as well do it manually.
@bumbadum14 We can't solely blame boomers for that but also the government for not encouraging/growing our own industrial development rather than simply importing it from other nations.
@yodaadoy_@hasanthehun Genuinly I don’t understand how you can believe that. If he really didn’t have any impact then why is the media covering him so aggressively. You don’t have to like him but at least recognize the reality of his impact.
@Mike_Martinez91@NYCMayor These contractors are treated like shit. They have no safeguards in case of accidents on the job. I don't understand why people hate the idea of giving workers basic rights...
@kev_stuff1@Rayaan_Pog Obv not. But imagine if every time we spare the other flowers he fill the bar a bit more every time. It could get almost filled or something giving us more suspense.
@CardGameNomad I disagree. There is a way around bots and its honestly very simple. Just enforce a capcha when servers have high load. This will stop every bot.
Worried bots will work around it? Just design a custom capcha. Bots wont be able to handle a surprises like that and change it often.
Like explain to me how a bot will work around having to drop an L shape tetris block to complete a line one drop and then have to draw a circle in another.
Don't give bots time to adapt. This can be solved by one slightly creative coder.
I don't agree. Its not that hard to defeat bots all you need is a quirky coder to add a custom made capcha that they change every time a big drop is scheduled making it IMPOSSIBLE for bots to work around it.
Randomly redropping only allows bots lurking to get the jump on it.
I gotta give @SamsClub credit on this one. They seen things were going bad, pulled stock, and brought it back with at least something that is allowing actual people to log in and score a box or two.
Not perfect by any means, but they tried something unlike many companies.
@NCGOP It should be illegal to be so blatantly dishonest. Not only do you not stand for anything in that list; you stole this image, changed the color to red and couldn't bother to remove the donkey in the background.
@favelaoverlord At first I was gonna disagree, but I can see your point. Crimes where there is little to nothing to gain from committing only point to the felon needing dire attention. We probably shouldn't let them go free with a slap on the wrist just so it can escalate to something worse
@KactiPlant As someone who has never played bomberman this must be obvious to them but to me this just allowed me to do hitless on my first try. I never thought about it that way... Game changing information lol.
Honestly at this point I gotta give credit to gamestop for having such absurd prices that they can still serve as a reminder of how shelves looked before scalpers ruined the hobby. People could just enter whenever and get boosters of from several different sets at the same time.
@CardGameNomad Gold cards are ugly AF. It takes away most of the appeal of SIRs being beautiful and gorgeous pieces of art and in return has slightly higher rarity. Not worth IMO and only appeals to 100% set completionists.
