So I'm starting to pay more attention to Rustage's use of assonance, and how did he come up with "tracks, Medusa" for "Hallelujah"?

How?! That is so freaking brilliant, not just in and of itself, but also given the context of the verses they come as part of.

I especially think there's more to the "no mood to argue" verse that I didn't pick up on because of the limited knowledge of this craft that I'm working with.

In Rustage's Anubis rap, he pulled this off in assonance-
Tutankhamen
do what Ra do
fast food
cartouche
cartoons
argue
boom and ankh, too
to start soon

With "boom and ankh too" not only is "Tutankhamen" almost being replicated in vowels, but "do what Ra do" is being exactly replicated.

The line after follows this assonance quite closely.

I've been studying @danielrustage 's raps in my free time and the more I'm practicing writing raps, the more I'm noticing the things he does.

In at least a few cases when the rhyme or assonance changed, the flow changed too. I might try to replicate that.
