In 1957, Arlene Cole started noting the weather as a hobby, simply because she found it interesting. A few years later, she became a volunteer weather observer for the US government.
For more than 60 years, she recorded the weather almost every day and sent her observations to America’s weather agency.
No headlines. No applause. Just six decades of quietly doing something useful.
She finally stopped at the age of 96.
The world runs on millions of such people whose names we will never know.

The Stanford professor won the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine for discoveries leading to optogenetics. His next move? Getting back to work.
“We have a lot of things still to discover, and a lot of people to help.”

URGENT: Please help us locate my brother-in-law, V.S. Balasubramanyam (Bali), a US citizen of Indian origin.
Bali was travelling with the Isha Foundation S3 Kailash/Mansarovar group.
His last known phone location, confirmed to his family by Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi, was the Chinese Immigration Centre at Gyirong, Tibet, on the morning of August 26, when the devastating flash flood struck.
His family has had no contact with him since, and his current status is unknown.
If anyone has information about Bali or the S3 group at the Gyirong immigration centre, please DM me.
Please RT 🙏 and share this widely. @MEAIndia@USAndIndia@Sadhguru@IshaFoundation

Today I learned about Anjali Gulate, the nurse at Cama Hospital during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, who not only saved 20 pregnant women but bravely identified Ajmal Kasab and testified against him in court.
Her testimony helped secure his conviction and death sentence.
The courage she showed in the face of unimaginable trauma deserves the highest respect. Salute to this incredible woman.
It also makes me wonder why are such unsung heroes rarely spoken about? We all know the name of the terrorist, but so few know the names of the ordinary people whose extraordinary courage helped deliver justice.
Stories like hers deserve to be told because they inspire generations and remind us what true bravery looks like.
A must-watch film! Bharat Bhagya Vidhata beautifully brings an untold story to life. Kangana @KanganaTeam you’ve done a wonderful job!🇮🇳
