Probably a terrible business decision, but I started building my own database to understand storage engines, indexing, WAL, and write paths.
Built so far: WAL, snapshots, Redis-like TCP server, CLI, hash indexing.

@JioCare Now it’s been rescheduled to 03-Nov-2025 between 16:00 and 17:00, which is completely unacceptable.
