The National Bank of #Rwanda and the Central bank of Kenya have signed an MoU to develop a License Passporting Framework for Payment Service Providers, enabling licensed PSPs to operate across both countries through mutual recognition of licenses, reducing duplicative regulation and advancing regional payment system integration under the @jumuiya cross-border payments agenda.

What if a fintech licensed in one African country could seamlessly operate in another?
That vision moved a step closer to reality at the Inclusive FinTech Forum 2026.

Who knew Hanga Pitchfest had dance breaks too? A brilliant reminder that innovation thrives where inspiration and joy collide. An ecosystem that builds, connects, and entertains at the same time. #hangapitchfest#digitalRwanda#RwOT
At Hanga Pitchfest today, always a reminder of how far Rwanda’s innovation ecosystem has come. The government’s commitment isn’t just policy; you feel it in how builders here get the structure, support, and push to actually grow. #hangapitchfest
It’s not AI that threatens jobs. it’s our unwillingness to adapt. As HE reminded us at #TAS2025, fear of the unknown changes nothing. The future isn’t waiting for consent; it’s already here. Learn, evolve, and move with it. #AI#DigitalTransformation#AfricaTech
Every insight at #ABF2025 echoed this: Africa’s transformation isn’t imported, it’s being built by its youth, right here, right now. The future is in motion.
The promise of Africa is no longer a distant dream. It’s a living movement led by young visionaries turning bold ideas into impact.
This is where bold ideas are turning into realities one Africa one dream. #ABF2025#AfricaRising
No matter what happens, keep looking forward. At #BCF2025, @MI_Abaga emphasized that it’s time for Africa’s creative industry to build its own music platforms in our own way. And with AI agents leading the charge, the future is ours. Couldn’t have been said better. #AI
At the #AfricaBlockchainFestival exploring how smart regulation, public–private collaboration, and digital trust can redefine Africa’s innovation landscape.
What we’re witnessing with @RuraRwanda and the ICT Chamber is more than policy reform, it’s a shift in mindset.
When regulation evolves through dialogue, it doesn’t just govern technology; it guides innovation responsibly.
A promising model for Africa’s digital future.
In session with @RuraRwanda on telecom quality—how can we make Rwanda’s networks faster, fairer, and more reliable? 💬 Drop your ideas! 🇷🇼 #DigitalRwanda
Why are Rwandans so passionate about President Paul Kagame and Rwanda? Everywhere you look, it’s Rwanda this, Rwanda that. Kagame this, Kagame that.
Here’s how you know a country truly works: Rwandans aren’t afraid of their police. As simple as it sounds to Rwandans, other countries worldwide can’t relate.
In fact, in Rwanda, over 90% would tell you they feel safe around the Rwanda National police and Rwanda defence force. No corruption, no intimidation, just warm hospitality. (Small cases of indiscipline that raises amongst these forces, are dealt with accordingly and Rwandans know this)
Everything functions: electricity, IT in every service you need, safety, equality, cleanliness, name it. We are still a developing countries but we have plans in place on how to overcome this and that.
Mind you, in 1994 Rwanda’s economy collapsed really really bad. GDP growth turned negative. It was the worst country in the world. The absolute worst.
President Paul Kagame, together with Rwandans, built Rwanda into what you see today. That is why we all come together to protect what we have. We have our differences, but when it comes to defending Rwanda and President Kagame, we set them aside and stand united. We hit back accordingly.
When any outside force tries to cause chaos among Rwandans, that's when they realize Rwandans are built differently. They all defend their country however they can. Some people have tried to divide Rwandans and failed miserably.
