A former boxing champion is being hailed as a hero after he fearlessly disarmed a knife-wielding attacker at a Kazakhstan airport, saving a young security officer held hostage.
The attacker pulled out a knife and seized the 21-year-old woman by her hair, and threatened to detonate a bomb using his phone.
Musa Abdraim, a father of five and former champion, boldly stepped forward, offering himself as a replacement hostage.
He then grabbed the knife with his bare hands, overpowered the assailant, and wrestled him to the ground.
