@Kelly_Kenoyer @NPR Just heard your piece. Thought it might be helpful- for you & listeners/readers- to share "coastal" doesn't mean to insurers what it may mean to listeners. E.g., some are now (I think correctly) considering dry creek beds- which flood in a deluge- as potential water hazards.

@scottsantens Someday, I hope to look into intersectionality wrt #UBI and C&P (and/or #retirement) for U.S. #Military #Veterans.

Considering massive economic benefits of the latter, including it with rhetoric about the former seems like a no-brainer… especially given recent wins for UBI.

@scottsantens Curious, in your UBI advocacy, have you ever run across any studies about Veterans receiving disability compensation or pension benefits and how it may impact health, stability and their communities? I never hear of anything and can’t help but wonder if it’s being overlooked…
