Don’t do the custom packaging until your scaling! $.20-.50 per unit adds up fast! At 100 units a day it could save you $1,500 a month! That’s huge when starting out!
Most of you are over paying for your products too! Comment “RIPPY” if you want cheaper sourcing! I’ll dm you.
More you go through ups and downs, the less they affect you
You begin to have so many reference experiences which all let you know this will pass
The trenches are your friend
@Henry_Scholes Agree - I’ve always asked myself the same q: is the value of salary ‘X’ higher than the value of waking up in the morning and having the freedom to choose what I do, where I do it and with who. Even if it’s harder. It’s a personal choice but an easy answer every time.
Entrepreneurship is hard
- highest highs and lowest lows
- long and irregular hours
- loneliness
Having a 9-5 is hard
- working for someone else
- less freedom
- clients / brands you don’t like
You can’t escape hard work but you can choose how it shows up.

One of the best books I own hands down
I think you can apply this one to all forms of relationships be it business or personal
A friend asked me the other day “what would you name this chapter of your life?” (cc @iisbellla) Feels like a perspective slam dunk & probably one of the best questions anyone’s asked me in a while
And then comes the mental crossroads with a garnish of mental fatigue or boredom with the industry you’ve given so much to for the last decade, but at the same time the freedom and ability to go in whatever direction you choose next.
You do that for a while, maybe a decade. You prove to yourself and whoever else you’re trying to prove things to that you can do it, whether or not you get the outcome you want (exit etc), you realise at some point along the road you’re capable of ‘doing the thing’.
