i love watching people try to argue about xikers rap line being at the top of 5th gen because the only counter argument is streams and numbers. turns out you really can't deny talent 🤭🤭
🐶 These days, our Hotteokies hold up name boards with my name and cheer for me, and I can see them quite well! Of course, it’s not just mine - I can also see the other members’ names clearly. Each member kind of has their own color - for me, it’s more of a blue tone, like sky blue; for example, Seonghwa has pink; I’m in the blue range; San’s is kind of purple. Even with mic colors, you can tell which shades suit each member - some look good with brown tones too. If you keep those colors consistent, it’s easier to see, but honestly, even just holding up a card with the name written on it stands out more than you’d think.
During concerts, even if the color’s different, as long as my name is written there, I can see it really well. So just holding up a “Yunho” card and cheering passionately - that alone makes me so happy. Of course, I understand that ATINY - just like me - want to record the moments too. If I were at a concert of someone I really loved, I’d want to capture it as a memory as well. So I totally get that.
But you know, I can really see those eyes looking at me. When you’re cheering, holding the lightsticks or cards - those gazes reach me. And somehow, that makes the stage feel even more beautiful. Of course, some people film while looking at me through the phone, or look up sometimes - but even so, I can feel those loving eyes, and I really love that feeling. It makes me want to perform even better, to give more. It just makes me happy.
So you don’t have to prepare a special “eye contact mode” or anything - that feeling already comes through so clearly. I love walking around the stage, making eye contact, and feeling that connection with everyone - it’s the most fun part of performing for me.
