The term “witch hunt” is overused in politics. Perhaps not this time. Quite a bit of the British media should ask themselves some serious questions as to whether the tenor and volume of the coverage they gave to this man was remotely proportionate. Likewise there are questions for Cambridge- and whether they discharged their duty of care.
I have to galvanise and unite the youth across the centrist to leftist spectrum and create a coalition of people who will pump out edits of Andy Burnham aura farming at such unprecedented speed that Reform won’t know what hit them
emerald fennel feels like satire at this point. is she an like a conceptual art project mocking the deterioration of uk arts and culture by being a plummy aristocrat whose allowed to make any old shite
I desperately need people to understand that there is NO WAY of bringing these people back. You cannot reason with them. The only thing you can do is shame them for saying this shit. Won't change their mind but if enough people do it, they will be quiet again.
Pandering to the far right will only normalise the far right, and nobody but the far right wins. All you do is compromise what you’re meant to stand for and throw marginalised and demonised communities under the bus in the process. It’s cowardly - and electorally futile.
Tragic to hear Keir Starmer say that immigration is turning the UK into "an island of strangers."
What a narrow, nasty, pessimistic view of the people of the UK. People who have made the UK their home from around the world include my friends & neighbours & are not strangers.
Keir Starmer said immigrants are turning the UK into an island of strangers, clearly attempting to appeal to Reform UK and the far right. My friends from Ireland, Poland, Nigeria, and Ghana enhance Scotland; they are not strangers, they are my friends.
