The world doesn’t close down over the festive period, and neither, necessarily, should PR agencies. Vital sectors continue to ply their trade, even when most of us are topping up the sherry and tucking into yet another mince pie.

Pleased to share my thoughts on comms at Christmas with in today’s @therealprmoment alongside others from the industry.

As recently as last year, a client was dealing with a crisis on the weekend before Christmas, managing to turn around a potentially damaging situation. Their team were flat out resolving issues, and I was more than happy to play my part, coordinating an interview with the CEO on the local news, transferring phone footage to Dropbox and crafting statements.

It’s in these situations that agency leaders and senior team “need to step up to the plate, even if it means stepping away from your own” as I say in the article (proud of that line…).
