This is a step towards preventing Kubernetes StatefulSet/ReplicaSet pods from getting stuck on unexpectedly shutdown nodes. It will be especially useful if you have an out of band way to detect node state and apply the new taint automatically. Thanks @2000Xyang for driving this!
