Hey, welcome in!
I’m a Tactical Doberman Vtuber!
just a guy who enjoys FPS games, guns, and talking about whatever topics are worth discussing. If you’re into games, tactical stuff, or just looking for a place to hang out and chat, stick around and have a good time.
@Toboinetsu@LaNativePatriot Yeah that is true, but this is not about who sold the most. This has obviously been shifted towards gender politics and the outrage of the community of a Game that is widely known to be centered around Men.
The OP comparison just happens to just be a obscure rage bait take imo.
Yet another prime example that the Creatures running the Industry are now pulling the strings and changing the goalposts more than ever and you will never see a good game ever again from these "AAA titles".
It just sucks that the heads above think they know what the community wants. Gears of War 5 had a breaking 3 Million people playing first weekend and into the week. That is hugely different. The crazy part is all this woke shit had been in the game since 5 and I think it just became more hostile as the years go by.
I cannot say I am very proud to have my name in the credits of Gears of War: E-day, but its there. Found out from an old co-worker. Honestly I am not proud of being apart of that team that supports Trans. On top of that they banned literally everyone who negatively discusses concern of the topic and that in itself is toxic af.
I miss when games were about the pure enjoyment of the game itself and didn’t push such agendas. Hate me for it but i simply do not support it.
Honestly, I think Halo has seriously missed an opportunity with the Flood. Their lore goes way deeper than just being the “zombie enemy”—they’re tied into the Precursors, the Forerunners, the Gravemind, and some of the darkest parts of Halo’s history.
We’ve seen some great Flood moments in the games, but they’ve barely scratched the surface of what could actually be done with them. A full game centered around a massive Flood outbreak, or even something set during the Forerunner-Flood War, could be insane. Unfortunately, with the recent restructuring and Halo’s development moving in a completely different direction, I honestly don’t know if we’ll ever see that kind of ambitious Flood-focused game become a reality.
People who say “Wait till the weekend” for their numbers to go up.
Listen Halo: Infinite had 272K players DAY 1. GEARS of War 5 had 3 million their first weekend, but their concurrent player base is extremely low. Hate to break it to any fans, but Gears of War is a dead game if you have to compare it to other AAA titles that also failed.
In other news: I’ve been playing a LOT of WARDOGS with some homies lately, and honestly, I’m really enjoying the hell out of it.
The more I play it, the more I start wondering if this might actually be a better direction for large-scale FPS games than Battlefield. WARDOGS feels like it actually wants the battlefield to be a sandbox. You’re not just running to an objective, shooting people, dying, and respawning—you’ve got vehicles, logistics, fortifications, different roles, a cash economy, and actual reasons to work with your squad. Even supporting your team can matter just as much as farming kills.
And that's what I think Battlefield has been missing for me. Battlefield still has the spectacle, but WARDOGS gives the chaos more purpose. It sits in this really interesting middle ground between Battlefield’s accessibility and Arma’s tactical sandbox without going completely hardcore.
Is it perfect? Absolutely not. It’s still Early Access and there are definitely things that need work. But playing WARDOGS with friends has been giving me those “holy shit, remember when that happened?” moments that I actually want from a large-scale military shooter.
I’m not saying WARDOGS kills Battlefield, but I honestly think it might be showing a better direction for where these games could go.
