why do people think they’re saying “aang was responsible for the air nomad genocide”they literally mean that people hold korra to an impossible standard they don’t hold aang for and that blaming korra for the past lives is as dumb as blaming aang for the war
@empress_satine Right, just like Korra and Aang. Aang picked up water on his first try with 0 struggle, and he generated fire when he was only told to keep the leaf from burning. He was bending 3 elements with barely any struggle in Book 1, yet ppl don't have a problem with that cuz he's the OG.
@luzen360 Y’all need to accept that being able to bend all four elements doesn’t mean much if you’re gonna suck at them. But whatever. If it makes you feel better, keep picking and choosing when it’s right and when it’s wrong.
@ostonox Are you dumb? Korra spent 13 years training to become a master. The twins can barely do anything with the other elements. In episode 3, they acknowledge that they need training and decide to make Jae their Airbending teacher. They are NOT masters. They're still going to train.
@SemiReformedMrS Right. Aang picked up firebending quickly, but that didn't mean he was immediately good at it. It's the same with the twins. They can bend all four elements, but they can barely do anything with them. They literally struggle to even create a gust of wind sometimes.
Avatar fans don’t actually pay attention to the show they’re watching because if they did, they’d realize that the avatar only needs a bending teacher to MASTER the element & become fully proficient in it.
But just starting out or doing the very basics, most avatars can inherently do that.
I don’t know how anyone watched ATLA & came to the conclusion that Pavi already bending all four elements doesn’t make sense.
@Elmo_ui Right. He picked up water and firebending very easily in Book 1. When you think about it, Aang knew how to bend three elements from the very beginning of his series. Yet people have a problem with two 9-year-old girls who can barely use the other elements without struggling.
@Mr_Amxsa Bitch... If you weren't gonna listen to good things about the series, why were you complaining about not hearing any in the first place?
You already made up your mind before even seeing a single episode. That's on you.
@GuyDecidue51287 Literally. They're worse than the Genshin Impact fandom, which I'm also part of. I can confidently say that the Avatar fandom has some of the worst types of fans.
