@Arch2D2 Awesome! Yes that's the insert that ran in newspapers on January 7, 1988. As I note in the post, Itō Masaya’s illustration bears striking similarities to Utagawa Kuniyoshi’s (1798-1861) Maiden Tamatori at the Dragon Palace (Ryûgû Tamatori-hime no zu, 1853).
