BREAKING: Ford gov has taken over $1.3 billion out of public education funding & deliberately hid the cuts under a "Planned Provision" item!
This means Ford has cut $1500 per student in #OntEd funding since 2018. Really shows their commitment to transparency 😡 #OSSTF#OnPoli
#BREAKING: Premier Doug Ford says his government is considering placing two properties back into the Greenbelt after it was discovered that developers quietly listed the land for sale while discussions were still ongoing.

It feels weird to say don’t go outside and don’t exercise. It also feels weird to say that we need masks outdoors more so than indoors. But yes, that’s what I’m saying. 🤷🏽♂️#PM25#wildfire
As some may be aware, last week, individuals chose to hold anti-2SLGBTQIA+ demonstrations outside of our schools.
ICYMI please read this message that clearly outlines our stance as a board. Our support of the #2SLGBTQIA+ community will not waver. https://t.co/eAiYZEUsXD

NEW on Bill 124, premier confirms his government will appeal the decision: "my hands are tied on what I can say - it was a very interesting verdict." The justice found the Ford gov't had no rationale for imposing a wage restraint law, they were not in a dire financial situation.
Observation: It is increasingly difficult for the general public to understand current infectious disease threats here due to well-organized disinformation campaigns, misinterpreting & over-interpreting of data by some, overconfidence, meaningful debate & general uncertainty.

Ontario's Paediatric ICU census report shows 111/112 beds occupied.
2 patients have COVID.
The gravity of the situation should be acknowledged by our public health and elected leaders.
Hubbie passed by a man who passed out on the street. His friends asked hubbie to call 911. He was told EMS “was busy” and to stay on the call. I think ambulance came after ? 15-20min?
This morning:
A homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk had his arm amputated by a heavy truck driving into a construction site. People called 911 but were put on hold and told to leave callback numbers.
If anyone has a more perfect metaphor for life in Toronto right now, LMK
