Happy fourth to all the immigrant parents with their little banderitas feeling so proud and excited🇺🇸

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Me not feeling proud of this country doesn’t disregard the gratitude towards my immigrant parents and their sacrifices

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Happy fourth to the children of immigrants who don’t feel proud of this country and yet feel grateful to be here

If buying iced coffee was therapy, I’d be cured

If buying yummy treats was therapy, I’d be cured

I just heard my mom say “toma un toper, uno que no huela a salsa”

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

My mom told me “ijole, en la mañana me súper asusté porque estaba tosiendo y pensé ‘que mala onda espero no sea covid…’ Y que era tu papá haciendo salsas.”😂😂😂

If buying cute products was therapy, I’d be ﾟ♡･:*✧* cured *✧*:･♡ ﾟ

How wild would it be to actually hire artists to make you something to post instead of taking it without permission from their feeds? Just a thought.

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Days like today remind me of how many people just take artist’s work like it’s nothing… Did you spend hours creating it? Then why is it on your feed?

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

For International Women’s Day I want my work to stop being taken without permission

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Don’t discount your work before a client even asks you to

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Ok, who’s gonna doordash me some pan dulce today?

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

I just wanna make cute ass things😤💘💗💫✨💕

[Itzel Islas @yayitzelstudio]

Don’t bother me, I’m daydreaming about pan dulce rn
