Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said in an interview with Jessica Soho that he had a change of heart in going to The Hague, saying that there’s no guarantee he will share a cell with former president Rodrigo Duterte.

“Nagbago ang aking posisyon dahil nung nandun na si president Digong at binibisita ng mga taga-Davao ay hindi pala pwedeng makabisita basta-basta doon,” he said in the interview dated May 13, 2026, before the shooting incident and his disappearance in the Senate.

“Kung makukulong din ho kayo sa The Hague, sa ICC facility, edi at least magkasama ho kayo. Hindi po ba ‘yun ang gusto niyo? Sabi niyo dati,” Soho asked.
