The Christian culture focuses on right and wrong(justice and sin). The Chinese tradition emphasizes a lot on benefits and losses. While in the long run, to do the right thing but not necessarily the easy one is the best strategy for everyone.
Both communism and Christian promise a heaven, where there are no sufferings, only happiness. However, communists blame others(capitalists) for the sufferings they endure, while Christians blame the evil and the sins for the sufferings they undergo.
Our Pastor gave a very good point today , he said, "the problem of modern American culture is to turn the Gospel from an announcement into an argument." What a good statement!
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2)
I still can't take it easy of the mission trip our church made to Mexico, to the rural area where four local churches met with our visitors. We are so blessed comparing with them. Thank God, and the best wishes to our bros and sisters over there!
