My account on @Twitch (lillie_garden / https://t.co/hYRUdSnLBp) was suspended indefinitely. After combing through everything, I genuinely couldn’t find which ToS I had violated- the email said "Serious Threats of Violence", but there was nothing malicious or harmful. The appeal portal gave no details. I suspect this may have been an automation mistake or a misinterpretation of something that had happened.
The suspension doesn’t have any more details included beyond the initial email. It's possible the offense was a reference made to a scene from an american sketch show mentioned in passing conversation, but the statement was clearly satirical. It was clearly stated to be a reference to the scene in the show in the context of the stream. It was never implied to be a serious threat, and that context feels very important to the suspension.
As a disabled creator, Twitch has been my only stable income and a huge source of hope for me. I’ve treated this as a serious full-time job, from day one. I try to be as responsible as I can with moderation, and if somehow there was a violation, it was by mistake. This platform means the world to me.
I would like to ask @TwitchSupport to please take another look with a human review. I received a permanent suspension as a first offense to a referential joke, which leads me to believe this was a mistake or a misunderstanding. I'm committed to making sure it doesn’t happen again, and I would very much appreciate a human review for my case. Thank you for your time.
@Cupworth How fucking stupid do you have to be to steal @lovelesskia 's art and trace over it? Bridget is Trans and there's nothing you can do about it. Cope. Seethe. Mald.
