@Morts_7@reluctantnicko That’s what world class players do. Tend to find World Cup winning sides have world class players in them who win them the tournament. You don’t get to a World Cup semi finals by being a shambles
@FFanatic1889 Well if reports are to be believed the prince is owed £35m and if COH have missed 2 smaller instalments I’m not sure where they are going to find £35m especially now parachute payments have gone
@FFanatic1889 Selling the club takes months. Any realistic person knows what’s happening here. It will be a fire sale to pay the debt. Already seen 1 out of the door. Expecting Hamer, Peck, Arblaster, Burrows, Cooper and O’Hare to follow pretty soon. Still leaves an inflated wage bill tho
@BayingB League 1 striker being purchased by a league 1 club. He scores 1 goal every 177 mins in that league so for a small outlay I’d say he’s a decent buy
@BayingB I suppose no panic needed when you’re having to recall a player you released a few weeks ago and have 2 untried kids coming in. Just need game changer Philips back in and the promotion train is all set to go
@tomhatters@SportsPeteO We are also likely to be loosing 2 of the senior pros as well. We potentially need 14 new players. A lot of this could be agent talk as well. Take this one for example we’ve already got 6 centre half’s. We don’t need anymore really
@thederbydigest@Enigma1867 Which means the owner can invest what they want on infrastructure and not have their hands tied. Our new owner has already spent £6m on infrastructure projects and is looking at more investment in that area. That won’t affect what we can spend on wages and other player costs
@Enigma1867@thederbydigest Last time in league 1 we had a turnover of £18m and we’ve sold more season tickets this time. Add to this will be a couple of player sales to add to the pot
