Unorthodox practices are making missionary and pastoral work more difficult for the missionary priest.
Imagine going through hills and mountains, crossing rivers, and going into farther regions and nations to spread the Gospel of Orthodoxy.
Spending time—weeks, months, and years—on catechism classes on how the Orthodox Church is the right Church and Faith.
Teaching how there is no salvation outside of the Church, triple immersion, how we shouldn’t pray with heretics and schismatics…. And only for these inquirers or catechumens to log onto the internet and see an Orthodox priest or bishop praying with a heretic or schismatic, calling the Quran a holy book, claiming a mosque is the ideal place to worship God, stating that all religion leads to God and that we all worship the same God, female deacon, female Altar servers, female preacher….
These are really confusing. Either we are Orthodox or we are not!
The thousands and millions of Orthodox martyrs and saints did not sacrifice their lives for a politically correct Orthodoxy.

@YoungPenitent I am yet again left wondering why people don’t just go and ask why people do the things they do. It’s very easy. You can just communicate with other human beings and ask for clarification.
@odysseykayn I think this proves my point. A Jaegerist would have took the shot. He chose mercy instead. Further proof that annihilating the world isn’t compatible with him.
@odysseykayn This clearly developed his character to the point where siding with the Jaegerists would have been inconsistent with who was at that point. The younger him might have sided with them. But not the older, more mature, more virtuous him.
@odysseykayn Jean is smart. But he never let reason dissuade him from virtue. Time and time again he would be put into situations where he was forced to take leadership roles and each time he would begrudgingly embrace them knowing the consequences.
@odysseykayn Well the thing about comfort is that “just try it out” turns into “i’m staying put” pretty quickly and Jean avoids this time and again because he continues to do what’s right over what’s comfortable.
