At 36 years and 220 days old, DeRozan joins James Harden (36y, 80d on Nov. 14, 2025) as the only players in NBA history to record 40+ PTS and 10+ AST in a game AFTER turning 36 years of age 🤯
history in the making 🔥
With his field goal at the 2:36 mark of Q3 vs CHA tonight, DeMar DeRozan surpassed Tim Duncan (26,496) for 18th on the NBA's all-time scoring leaders list.
👏👏👏
DEMAR’S DISTINCTION: The Sacramento Kings’ DeMar DeRozan climbed to 20th place on the NBA’s all-time points list last night, passing John Havlicek and Paul Pierce. The 17-year NBA veteran is now one of six active players in the top 20, joining No. 1 LeBron James, No. 6 Kevin Durant, No. 9 James Harden, No. 14 Russell Westbrook and No. 19 Stephen Curry. DeRozan and Curry – selected two picks apart in the 2009 NBA Draft – are back-to-back among the league’s career scoring leaders, separated by just 41 points.
Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis underwent season-ending surgery on Wednesday morning to repair the torn meniscus in his left knee, sources tell ESPN. Sabonis rehabbed the meniscus tear during the season and tried to play through the injury before having surgery now.
Honestly I feel bad for DeMar's career trajectory.
Gets backstabbed by the Raptors, is known for a franchise low for the Spurs, goes to the Bulls who are a bad front office, and then goes to the Kings who are an even worse front office.
I just want the man to be happy.
