@AdamSykesWirral@SophyRidgeSky Unfortunately I’ve had a lot of negative results from SM, probably due to their ASD issues. 1 of mine are easily influenced & indoctrinated into believing the rhetoric spouted. Now paying for private therapy for them.
@AdamSykesWirral@SophyRidgeSky It’s great your company has apprenticeships, it’s definitely the way to go. My 22yr son has finally realised this is the right way to go rather than uni.
@AdamSykesWirral@SophyRidgeSky I agree, SM is a parasite. Given my time again, mine would never have had access to it. Hindsight is now a painful lesson. Lockdown also impacted them badly & SM became their world unfortunately.
@SophyRidgeSky Been saying the same for years.
Investment in the next generation has been severely lacking for years. Education, MH etc.
instead its sticking plaster solutions & initiatives for show that do not address the issues as no one wants to tackle the main one, education system fails
@SophyRidgeSky How about they look at the very start of their lives? Schools.
Factories to churn out kids who have made to remember facts for exams rather than teaching independence & life skills.
Majority of kids will never use or need a grade 8/9.
Teach them about real life.
@AdamSykesWirral@SophyRidgeSky Agree but how are they seeing all the detail, a lot of time skewed information via SM platforms?
Parents have always struggled, mine had nothing when I was kid in the 70’s/80’s but that didn’t cause anxiety, it made me get a job, any job. Now there are none for them
@ThePosieParker@AjaTheEmpress@netflix Put this on yesterday as background to cleaning. It’s absolutely awful & my impression was it is an advert for Guinness rather than an actual film. Can’t believe actors like Richard Gran etc did this without some form of blackmail involved.
@Tesco Please conduct an investigation into this and why it was not treated as a serious incident by security, regardless of the jurisdiction of the car park.
@Tesco Elderly woman seriously assaulted in the car park of your Gorton store today. When she went in the store, told it’s not their jurisdiction so didn’t call police.
Exactly what are security told to do in such a case? I don’t believe saying sorry without calling 999 is right
@TescoChatFaq I can’t. The lady has posted on the Gorton Facebook page & followed th advice we have all advised her to report to the police which she has. This was a sexual assault that the security staff failed to act upon. It’s not an inconvenience
#Tesco
A serious assault occurred near your Gorton store today on an elderly lady. Security took her name but did not call 999 as ‘it’s not in their jurisdiction’
I think your security staff need some correct training immediately & the lady sent an apology🤬
I thoroughly enjoy watching the woke cult members get owned and Brandon here does not disappoint.
These people are in organisations across the UK as well as the USA and their removal should be a top priority.
This is incompetence, it's that simple, she should not be in a position of power if they believe and practice nonsense.
Had the misfortune to forget the by-election in Denton this morning & called into Morrisons for breakfast before heading to the Lakes for a break.
Have to say is the Green campaigners were rude whilst using the cafe, entitled & eventually told to leave by a manager.
🟩? Nope
Starmer: Your party is the cause of all evil!
Badenoch: No, your party is the cause of all evil!
Backbencher: Will the Prime Minister join me in congratulating my constituent for winning Garden of the Year? :)

I’m dealing with a family emergency, so I won’t be doing broadcast interviews on the John Davidson Tourette’s tic at the BAFTAs story.
Hearing the N word shouted at two of the most successful black actors in the world, on stage at the BAFTAs and broadcast on the BBC, was horrible. It made people uncomfortable. It should have. But it was an involuntary tic from someone who lives with Tourette’s syndrome. It was not chosen. It was not intentional. It was not an expression of belief.
What’s astonishing is watching people who constantly lecture the public about inclusion suddenly abandon it the moment it becomes complicated. The same voices that demand respect for lived experience are now acting as if a neurodivergent man consciously decided to shout a slur for sport.
Tourette’s is a neurological condition. It is not a political statement. It is not a moral failing. You cannot preach DEI and then punish someone for symptoms of their neurodivergence.
Even the Royal Household has previously understood Davidson’s condition. Not even the late Queen was immune to his tics he said “F*ck the Queen” TO HER FACE. If that reality can be accepted there, it should not be beyond the rest of us.
Two things can be true at once. The word is abhorrent. The tic was involuntary. If your commitment to inclusion collapses when it involves neurodivergence, then it was never inclusion in the first place.
Exactly what happened to me. Therapist was desperate to have individual sessions, he refused. I went & she advised me to seek support immediately.
Thank god I did.
i just saw a post about a woman who registered for marriage counseling with her husband, after their individual intake sessions, the counselors contacted her & said they couldn’t, in honesty conscience, continue with couples therapy because the relationship had multiple layers of abuse, instead, they offered her resources to help her exit safely and begin individual therapy. They later called the husband and told him they simply didn’t have any counselors available to take their case...
