as i get older i realize the biggest epidemic is dudes with no real identity
if running gets cool they become runners. if tattoos get cool they cover themselves in tattoos. if being sober trends they become born again monks, mullet, coffee snob, golfer, carnivore, cowboy, whatever the algorithm tells them
whole personality built out of social contagion
thats why these dudes get smoked at everything. everyone can smell the fraud
no weight behind anything they do because none of it came from their soul. just trend hopping
be something real even if its ugly
If you’re ambitious I’d highly recommend working in an organization or a team where people have your similar sense of urgency or you will slowly go insane
Everybody’s ego is so inflated now a days it’s like wtf have y’all done to feel this way the most y’all have done is get a job and just started making money since covid but y’all think y’all the main character for some strange reason
This is what people tell themselves subconsciously, but the opposite is true in reality. You actually have more peace when you give your all and lose.
I'll give a personal example.
I did everything I possibly could to fight against the feds. Paid for the best lawyer available. Attacked them legally on every angle. Decided to testify at great risk. Prepped and aced it, controlling the prosecutor during my cross-examination.
None of it mattered. Still convicted on all charges, including an absurd and unconstitutional one.
But I felt immense peace after the initial grief passed, like I had passed some major karmic test. I felt proud of myself even in defeat.
I wouldn't have felt that way if I left anything on the table. I would have wondered "what if." I would have had regrets.
Now I have none, regardless of what happened to me.
The only way to live is to give your all and let the chips fall where they may.
Shouldn’t have allowed Spann to frame against his hips and was way too aggressive with the backtake instead of securing the hips as Spann started building height
"We are not trying to repeat an outcome.
We are trying to repeat a process."
You don’t build dynasties by chasing results.
You build them by mastering the habits that produce them.
The scoreboard only reveals what the process already decided.
